Checklists
Apple’s stock Notes app includes the checklist feature that lets users know that a task is complete. This is one of the greatest features in Apple Notes app, as it proves useful especially if you are planning task lists, grocery shopping and more. To create a checklist within the Notes app, you simply need to tap the Checkmark from the toolbar. Once you are done, the feature creates a bubble next to the note that you can check off to let you know that a task is complete.
Bold, Italic and Underline
If you are using the Notes app on your iPhone, you will be happy to know that the app allows you to add bold, italic or underlined text to your notes. All you need to do is to tap on a text you want to underline or italicize until you see the copy and paste toolbar. After that, you need to tap BIU and select bold, italic or underline.
Collaborate notes
With iOS 10, Apple has added collaborative features that allow users to share your notes, shopping lists and others with your friends or families. All you have to do is to tap the Collaborative icon located at the top right corner and pick an app to send the invitations or copy the note’s link to send it manually.
Add pictures
Apple’s stock Notes app now allows you to add picture and video to your notes. You simply need to tap the Camera icon. After that, you will be presented with options to either take a photo or choose a photo or video from your photo library.
Password-protect your notes
One of the greatest additions to iOS 10 Notes app is its ability to password-protect your notes. You simply need to tap the Share icon located at the top-right corner of the app and tap the lock icon from the sharing sheet. Once you are done, you can enter the password or use Touch ID to access your locked notes.
